2025 was one of the most successful and impactful years in Alaboo Charity’s journey.
We began the year with the exciting purchase of new land, laying the foundation for a Grade 1–7 school. Alongside this growth, we expanded our team by hiring two additional teachers and security staff to better support our students.
To ensure our staff could continue their incredible work, we built a dedicated staff house for the teachers who care for the 90 orphans at the school. We also constructed a new kitchen, enabling Sarah, our school chef, to prepare meals for our growing community of 240 students.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, six teachers received bicycles through a successful fundraiser, making their daily commutes easier. More students were also provided with school uniforms, helping them attend school with confidence and dignity.
We are incredibly proud that our students finished the year with strong exam results and a shared excitement for the future—especially the opportunity to continue their education in a Grade 8–12 school.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move into 2026, we have ambitious goals to continue building opportunities for our students and the surrounding community:
New Land for a Grade 8–12 School – $50,000
We aim to expand our educational offering so students can continue their studies beyond primary school.
Orphanage for 90 Children - $100,000
We hope to build a dedicated orphanage to provide safe, stable housing and care for the 90 children currently supported by the school.
Farming Land (3 Acres) – $50,000
Land has become available behind the school that could be used for farming, helping us sustainably feed our students.
School Bus – $30,000
Many of our students walk 1–3 km or more each day. A bus would provide safer and more reliable transportation.
Clean Water Well in Gailee – $30,000
Students and community members have requested a well to provide clean drinking water for over 3,000 people in the area.
With your continued support, we can turn these goals into reality and create lasting change for our students and their community. Click below to donate!
